I just got into the show, and would like to get a couple eps off of iTunes so I can more aqquainted with the show. What would be the best eps to do that with?

Hello,The Monk TV Show is more complicated than it seems. Mr. Monk is still very much in love with his dead wife, Trudy.,although it was fun to see him interact with his real wife,Brooke Adams, in Mr. Monk Goes to the Farm last Friday.You might want to see Mr. Monk and the Class Reunion,Mr. Monk and the Red Herring, and Mr. Monk Takes His Medicine, as well as Mr. Monk and the Actor.To have some idea of who Trudy was is to understand the show because she is always mentioned and occasionally we see her in the afterlife.Google has some great sites which can distinguish for you the Trudy episodes.

I like the episode where Monk and his father 'n law go on the game show as well.

The best episode, IMO, was the one where he was sent to Mexico to investigate a case. They get stopped at the border while the Mexican border patrol searches his suitcases (all 16 of them) and the officer says, "Senor Monk, we *do* have water in Mexico". Then of course, his suitcase and supply of water are stolen and by the end of the episode he's dehydrated and on the verge of collapse...

my family voted and it was the garbage strike episode with Alice Cooper and number two was the alien episode - very close! All are fantastic as someone previously stated.

Any episode will do. They all follow the same formula. Did you know that Capt. Stottlemeyer is the same guy that played buffalo Bill on Silence of the Lambs?

I have 2 favorites....the one where he works at a store that's like Wal-Mart, and I also like the pilot episode. It's just a great show period.

My favorite episode would have to be either the one wear he gets blind, or the one wear he tries to take pills to help his OCD. I don't know the episode number though.
