PETA's name is 'mud' is our area. About 10 years ago, PETA contacted the mayor of Fishkill, NY, demanding that he change the name of the town to something more fish-friendly. Obviously, they hadn't done their homework, and were unaware that 'kill' in this instance is Dutch for 'stream', indicating that there were plenty of fish in the local waterways. Needless to say, he just laughed at them...

And, why aren't they out there on the savannahs of Africa protesting the lions killing all those animals that they eat. Or protesting the croc's in Aussie land that so sneakily come out of the water and kill whatever is on the bank. It just doesn't make sense.
