I hate it. I just don't like it at all. I can't explain why. I like the song "Money changes everything" better.

As a bass player back in the 80's in high school, I with a group of musicians had to perform that song on many occasions.

Originally the song was "Men just wanna have fun".But the songwriter couldn't sell the song to record companies,so he changed it to "Girls just wanna have fun".I think it's a silly song with little meaning.

I like that song...
They used to play it alot when I was younger, and in High School, and we used to ROCK out to it..
But that was over 20 yrs ago...
Its just talking about Girls being Care Free, and livin for the Moment..the song speaks for itself...Girls just wanna have fun!

I like Cindy Lauper and I liked the song it was a cutesy song--I like most music from the 80's
