I live in Texas so PVAMU is my #1 choice (both my mom and dad graduated from there) but I am thinking of going out of state.I got accepted to Spellman, Howard, Florida A&M, PV and University of Texas-Austin (non HBCU) I also want to major in polotical sicence,
I want to go to a school with a good band program. Can someone please help me decide

In terms of academic reputation, Howard, Spelman, and UT Austin are by far your best choices on this list.
I would imagine that out of those three, Howard and UT Austin would have the best band programs.
Personally, I'd go with Spelman. But that is because I believe smaller classes with one-on-one relationships with professors is vital. You may not feel the same way.

Florida A&M has a wonderful band program. They just played in the NCAA football championship game.
