I haven't experienced this (I wish I would) but it's entirely feasible.

Amenorrhea is caused by many different diseases. As simple as being underweight, to something like a thyroid problem, or a hundred other things. If the cause was treated, the Amenorrhea would resolve.

Depends on your age, if you were on the pill or some form of birth control. If you are over 60 and stopped periods at 50 or some such thing then I would go see a gynaecologist. If you took the hormones for the last 10 years for birth control and you're under the age of 50 then yes you'll probably have periods until you reach menopause.
