Ok open ur minds please....just listen me out....I didnt mean to offend anyone by saying homosexuals or mates etc. sorry about that but back to the questions just think about it.....Example a phedopile is sick in the head because is turned on by children etc...(im not going into detail you all know what i mean) so why is liking another person of the same sex ok? is it not the same? some unnatural attraction that is not seen in the animal kingdom? look if you dont like the question dont answer it. period.

I wouldn't want to change. I really think that there is a gift in all this-- even the rough stuff. The struggles we go through mold us, and the world owes a lot of gratitude to the contributions that gay people make. And even on a small level, for example, I spend a lot of money & time on my nieces and nephews. I wouldn't have those resources to help them with if I were raising my own. I also wouldn't have the understanding of being "other" which has guided both my work and spiritual practice. Very few straight people can get along with as wide a range of people as most healthy gay people can. It makes perfect sense that a small segment of the population is focused on making connections, and securing the survival of the clan, as opposed to their own DNA vehicles.

Here is one for you: since to procreate you only need to do it with a woman once or twice, maybe straights have it backwards! I mean, men-women... they are so different, they can barely get along sometimes! :)

Okay---This is for code words...the term homosexual is primarily used by those who have little or no respect for same sex couples. Thus, I as a gay woman, find your question demeaning.

Now for the answer to your question--

First of all, what is a disease? Is it a syndrome? In my experience it is typically described as a condition that causes a person's body to behave abnormally, in simple terms.

So now that we have a definition, let's attempt to rationally answer your question.

I have to disagree. When I, and presumably any other gay person, is intimate with a person, the same thing occurs as when you are intimate with the opposite sex. We fall in love, we have stable and longterm relationships, we are respectful of each other, and we care for each other. Nothing abnormal here! Also, your reference and use of the word "mate": To mate is not to have sex, it is to produce offspring. If you haven't taken ninth grade biology yet, then you should probably learn soon that it is necessary to have a man and a female to procreate.

Thus, gay people do not "mate" with the same sex. We are simply wired differently than straight people, we are still natural creations and we still live the same types of lives as others do, except we don't go around discriminating and asking questions like this about heterosexual couples.

I am bi sexual and very happy to stay the way that I am. I know that I do not have a disease and all my parts are fully functional. I happen to appreciate both forms of the human body.

OF COURSE your attacking us. Your question made that clear.

Secondly, no, I would not take the cure, because I don't need one. I'm more than happy with who I am.

You have got to be kidding! That is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard of!!! Just because someone is gay, lesbian, or bisexual that does not mean that they have a "condition". Maybe you should go see a doctor and see if you can get a cure for your homophobia.

You don't need to be afraid to tell the truth like it is. Yes, they absolutely suffer from an unknown disease. This is a mystery some human beings can't understand. Why would people do something they don't want to do. It is simple and crystal clear that it's a gay spirit that lives in them.
Doctors or counselors can't help you, most of them don't even know God, why go to them when God can help you free of charge?
