Knowing that pets come into our lives in various and unexpected ways I want to appologize for the other morons who have been trying to belittle you for asking your question.
A few things you should know.
1. Hampsters are NOT solitary creatures, they will get along fine with each other, and generaly dont do as well when their alone. just make sure you have two of the same sex or you'll soon have 500 hampsters LOL, females seem to get along better with each other.
2. They are notorious escape artists, so a 10 gallon or larger fish tank with a snap on mesh lid seems to be the best cage for them in my experence.
3. They will drink from a bowl, but they will also swim in it. So a water bottle is your best bet.
4. They DO NOT EAT HUMAN FOOD i.e. peanut butter, The Hampster foods you find at the pet store are fine as a base diet, and any kind of RAW fruits and vegitables are also fine. Make sure you get a salt lick to put in their cage, they love it and it helps them get minerals they need.
5. their teeth never stop growing so they need a block of wood or something hard to chew on ( again at the pet store).
6. they normaly use the same corner in their cage as a bathroom, the beddidng in this corner should be changed every day, the entire cage needs to be washed (with a little bleach water and rinsed very well) at least once a week.
7.They are nocternal, thats why they seem so lazy during the day.
8. They love toys, yes even the wheel.
9. They need to be handled by you very often so they will get used to it and not bite every time you go near them.
Ok thats just the basics, I do suggest you get a book on hampsters and learn even more.
Good Luck with your new family members.
Eric.

Your hamsters need for you to go and research about them on the internet. Hamsterific.com is an excellent source of information. I've had hamsters off and on since I was 7 and I have a 21 yr old now. For the last few years we've not only raised them but used to breed them. I need more information to help you with their care. What breed do you have? Are they males, females, or 1 of each? I just got my daughter mice and I spent nearly 2 hours talking with the pet store employees asking all about them. I got written information from them and when I got home, I researched them even more. With all this information, it still didn't help when the female got away after only having it 2 hours. We took all the precautions and used a tank with locking lid. We still haven't found her, but we're keeping an eye out for her, bad thing we have 14 cats and 3 dogs. I'll check back later and see if you give these answers, then I'll edit my answer. In the mean time visit the site below.

1. if you did your research like you should've done, you'd know not to put 2 or more hamsters together in the same cage, which i'm assuming you've done since you said hamsterS. hamsters are solitary.
2. i can't believe you bought an animal you know nothing about, i hate people like you, and you can report me if you want, bcuz quite frankly i don't care, and you don't deserve an animal.
3. here is a site that might help you take care of the poor, unfortunate, little thing:

Hamsters like peanut butter, nuts, seeds, cheese, whipped cream, cereal, and regular hamster food. You should have a wheel, food dish, water bottle, "Kaytee" bedding(It doesn't have harmful stuff in it like most beddings). Do not put two hamsters together, it will result in A)Breeding, B)Fighting To Death. Give your hamster lots of love and attention, and give the things i listed as treats, except hamster feed. Hamsters "pouch" there food and relocate it so quickly disappearing food is them moving there food to there bed. Hope it helps, I had elevan hamsters before so I know alot about them.

O i like brawls. Im evaluate myself a incredibly good baseball fan yet you are able to purely watch fred lweis and ray durham hit maximum of situations. in specific circumstances a good combat between 2 communities is what gets teh followers excited. even however I dont like those ones the place like the two benches empty yet no longer something extremely occurs. i desire to be certain a memorable conflict between 2 human beings. that's whats extremely interesting. particularly while its between opponents (are you able to assert purple sox vs yankees!)
