Yes, Sabriel is a great book. The sequels, Liriel and Abhorsen, are also very good, and I will second the vote for Tamora Pierce - she's a wonderful writer. I suggest starting with Alanna, as that's the first one time-wise. I also would recommend Robin McKinley's The Blue Sword and The Hero and the Crown; Susan Cooper's The Dark Is Rising series, Mercedes Lackey's Arrows for the Queen and the rest of the Valdemar series, and Philip Pullman's The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass, also known as His Dark Materials trilogy. I hope that keeps you busy! :)

The sequels, Lirael and Abhorsen are also really good, but Sabriel shall remain my favorite. And I know, isnt Sabriel just AWESOME? I've read it like a million times over. If you have already read the sequels I would suggest any of Tamora Peirces books (if youre into that kind of thing).

The sequels, of course!! Liriel and Abhorsen. Garth Nix's trilogy just gets better as you go along. :)

hi Lucy. you've requested a troublesome question! i wager you've study all 3, so have study Lirael and Abhorsen too. So... you're already at a aspect above Twilight and Harry Potter, can ignore them. you need to judge Philip Pullmans "His darkish resources" trilogy - the first is the most ideal, the second one is solid and the 0.33 slightly poor, yet many delight in them. No, no longer solid sufficient. we want more beneficial advantageous... ok. we can bypass for 3 fairly diverse myth ideas the following. a million. The Fionavar Tapestry trilogy through guy Gavriel Kay. mind-blowing books, wealthy in Celtic mythology yet finished of romance and potential and betrayal besides, basically mind-blowing. in case you delight in them then inspect "Tigana" and "A music for Arbonne" through an similar author. 2. evening Watch through Sergei Lukyanenko. Now those are fantasies for grown-ups, troublesome and convincing yet nonetheless finished of heart, properly translated from the Russian and as solid because it receives. plus in case you delight in, there are added tale arcs appropriate to the characters that are each and each piece as solid. 3. The Assassins Apprentice trilogy through Robin Hobb. She is the type of solid author! those initiate sluggish, yet fairly p.c.. up and turn right into a damn solid yarn. the solid information is in case you want them, there are 2 added trilogies (Liveship investors, Golden fool) that proceed the tale arcs and are even more beneficial advantageous! I actually have reported those 3 depending in uncomplicated words on your love of the Abhorsen trilogy, whcih are basically womderful books. it is the in trouble-free terms reason have not reported the Hobbit/The Lord of the earrings or some such classic, case in point. targetted on YOU! delight in, Steve. playstation mail me in case you want to communicate when you've study them, or regardless of.
