It feels like there is something inside my throat that blocks a small amount of food or w/e. ITs nothing serious, but does anyone know what it is? Im already visiting the doctor but the appointment is in 3 days. And i want this to stop asap. But yeah it kind of hurts and it feels like i swallod a pill and half of its stuck there or something. Someone please give me a serious answer. Thank you soo much.

first of all, are you able to breathe alright? that's number one. if not, go to the ER immediately.

did you explain the details to the doctor's office? ask them if you can possibly be seen tomorrow (are they open saturdays?) for a same-day appt.

if not, find out where there is an urgent care clinic in your area.

(even for a doctor, which i'm not) it's pretty much impossible to diagnose you online, since this could be so many things.. the best thing you can do (as long as you're able to breathe) is relax and try not to think about it until you can be seen. sorry i can't be of more help....

EDIT: can you get a friend/girlfriend/wife/parent/somebody else to examine you? have them get a flashlight and open wiiiide (if you say "aaahhhh" it reallly does help to open up the throat) and see if they can actually tell what's going on in there. there might be an actual object stuck in there, or it might be swelling/redness/irritation (the latter likely in either case). it would probably help you feel better (psychologically) if they could tell what was going on, until you can get to see a doc! =)

My brother was having similar symptoms. The doctor could not feel anything, so he sent him to an ENT ears, nose, throat doctor. They inserted a scope up his nose and down his throat to see what was down there. It turns out that it was just acid reflux. Since then, he cut back on orange juice and other foods like spag sauce. The problem has gotten much better.

Have you had your thyroid levels checked recently? If your levels are low, maybe you have a goiter or something. A doctor can look at your neck area and see that. If that's the case, taking a thyroid supplement usually takes care of that. Good luck!
