Yes, everyone takes bad pictures sometimes. Especially when caught of guard.

I absolutely hate that! I'm not gorgeous by any stretch of the imagination (be that my imagination or somebody else's), but I'm not freakishly ugly, either. It seems that whenever I take a picture, my lips appear paper-thin and my cheeks look like those of a chipmunk. I'm really not exaggerating that at all -- my sister has sometimes made comments about it (not in a mean way, mind you) that I look nothing like my pictures. I had a friend, once, that did not recognize me. My eyes are my favorite thing about me: I'm the only one within three generations that has green eyes..everybody else has brown save for two lucky blues. But you can never see my eyes due to the distractions that are my cheeks. I look like a small child who hasn't outgrown their baby fat! But I don't look like that in person! (At least I hope I don't) Maybe it's true what they say: pictures add ten pounds..but I always figured that was to your waist, not your face haha. It sucks, but it's the reality of pictures. Even models have to be retouched, yeah? :)

Of course! Even just the lighting could make someone look horrible. Tons of my friends are beautiful but turn out looking really strange in pictures. Often the flash is what makes people look weird because the extra light makes them look paler and casts shadows on the parts of the face that protrude like the nose. This makes most people look really tired or dead.

Not everyone is photogenic. Most people look better in real life. Lighting and the shadows on your face can also play a role in making you look different on film.
Smile! I hate having my picture taken too but having memories forever make it worth while.

Yes I am ghastly in pictures. Something abot my eyes I had to hav emy senior pics redone because of my eyes But I am not ugly ..Some people are just not great photo subjects That is is way my vacation photos never feature me..

Yes, just look at the average person's driver's license photo. Everyone looks better in real life than that.

sure, i'm a model, but like sometimes i take pictures that look so much worse than how i look in person.. like sometimes, people will see a bad pic of me and they'll be like "whoa that's u!".. but not in a good way lol.. so yeah pics can make u look absoloutely horrible sometimes =]
don't worry though.. just whoever sees a bad pic, make sure they see how cute you are in person =]

yeah it sure is!
some people just dont take good photos...
i got a beautiful friend but everytime the shutter snaps on a camera, she ends up looking like an old hag! lol its amazing, she's only got about 1 good photo, but she's stunningly boootiful.
and as for you, you are beautiful, i can tell, truly lovely.

You better believe it. It all depends on lighting and camera angle. In my grade 9 school pic, I looked like I was stoned.
