Click Start/control panel. Click on sounds and audio devices
and adjust volume there. Or click on the speaker symbol
in the lower right hand corner (right click)/ open volume controles and adjust the sliders to max. Or go back into the control panel
and check "add and remove hardware" and check to see if you have your audio drivers installed ok.

I'm no computer wiz and you might have already tried this, but I'll tell you anyway in case you haven't. If the only thing you tried turning up was the volume on your audio players (and I'm assuming speakers if you have them [desktop pc]) then the problem might be that your current general sound settings might be set low. It should be a speaker icon on the bottom right of your screen, double click it and open up the sound settings. But since it's a new computer, I don't know why those settings would be like that so I'm assuming that you already knew this and I'm just annoying you. lol sry I'll go away now.

Here are some possible problems: Is the computer's audio volume turned up? Does your audio card need updating (it may be a new computer but sometimes manufacturers use older cards)? Does your audio card have it's own volume control? Did you plug the speakers into the right port? If it is Windows Media Player, is the volume turned up? If it is none of the above, your speakers may have a problem of their own. You might want to contact the seller for more information and support.

Hi. Make sure powered speakers are connected correctly, set the volume control high enough, set the volume controls in the software (Start> Accessories> Entertainment> Volume control>) . If you have a soundcard, make sure it is seated correctly and has the latest drivers from the manufactures website. Try headphones to make sure the speakers are working. Good luck!
