Yeah, I lost interest in playing with toys at about puberty. Then I was interested in a different sort of "toy", but like all toys, sometimes you just get sick of them. They lose the mystery. The simplest toys are the best, the ones that aren't programmed to do anything. That way they leave more for the imagination. Maybe your person is like an electronic toy, and you've seen all that that person has to offer (or more accurately, all that they feel comfortable revealing). Like a kid at christmas, the package that the toy came in is more fun to play with until it is time to throw it away. Maybe you should find someone that is like a simple, tried and true old dog eared teddy bear. It doesn't do anything, it didn't come in a package that made its outside different than what was inside of it, and it always listens to you, it cuddles, it is your friend. Even though i out grew toys, I still keep two little mice that my Aunt knitted for me twenty five years ago, and I still keep a friend from twenty five years ago too. The simple things leave room for a greater life of the mind, and like having imaginary conversations with a teddy bear, a person who presents themselves just as they are, ironically, have many more layers and depth and mystery than a person with funky clothes or a lot of makeup that really has no substance once those layers are peeled away. Good question. I think I'm gonna take out my little mice and talk to them and see what adventures they have been on this past year. :)

Every time I find out a guy that I like likes someone else, I move on right away. I don't use interest all of a sudden for much else though; it's more gradual

Yes, it's called a crush. Sometimes I think some guy is interesting and attractive and the next day I just think "What a jerk!"

Yes I'm real bad about getting involved in things then not wanting to do them anymore. Piano lessons, guitar lessons, etc.
