There isn't anyone else, I am certain. As for porn... I thought we had dealt with that issue- but I can't say for sure he's not looking at it anymore.

cadyo,

Know that I know what you are going through. There is a support group for people like us in this situation... married to the love of your life, and they won't have sex with you. It's hell. A hell that nobody understands that hasn't been through it. SWAGE

If he's pretty much always the one who has to intiate sex, if he is pretty much always the one on top, if he is always the one doing all the work, if he is always the one expected to "be romantic" while you sit back and soak it all in, if he is pretty much always the one who has to notice, to comment, to compliment, to give the foot rub, to give the back rub, to smell good, to wash his genitals, to remember to hug before during and after, and you simply lay there and take it, all the while putting on the weight and never washing or trimming that beaver or going to the gym or giving a rub or giving head for fun or complimenting or smelling nice or initiating or suggesting something new or getting on top or .... and complaining sex gets old and being too tired and yadda yadda yadda - then why WOULDN'T he get tired of sex with you? You get out of sex what you put into it - no effort on your part = sh*tty sex for everyone.

No offense-- I have no idea if you do any of this - it's just what all my married buddies complain about.

EDIT for Momof1 below--you say women do not intitiate since they run the risk of being rejected - what the HELL do you think could happen to a man *every* time **he** intitiates? It's exactly the same. And no not *all* women gain weight and lose desire, but *many* do. Disprove that if you dare. Go to a mall and just people watch for an hour. Let me ask you this - when was the last time you were romantic to him the exact way you want him to be romantic to you? Exactly my point . And guys go to h*ll too. But she asked why, and I told her.

It is not that I am uninterested, every time I try to get some there is always an excuse to say no. After awhile of being turned down and excuses, I stopped trying. I did not care she was overweight I knew the body would change after a couple of kids. She is the only women for me, whether she is big or small I accept it. being turned down so much has tuned me out, whether we do it or not I could care less.

Her.

She has spent the last 15 years making herself physically, spiritually and emotionally ugly, so that I would have to be drunk or on crack to even try to force myself on her.

I was hot for this woman for 24 years before i finally conceded the point. One of the 10 worst days of my life (July 9th, 1998)

It did not matter to me some extra weight or shifting parts or gray hairs. But since my lovemaking skills were on a par with a wrecking ball, there was no way to reconcile the problem.

*sigh*

The divorce had something to do with that. My current girlfriend is older than I am, yet we still act like kids in the sack.

As for my ex, it was a long and complicated decline due, primarily, to her demanding more and more in the way of material things. This is what seemed to be her main motivation in life.

My girlfriend, on the other hand, is far more spiritual... and, I think this will get us through the rest of our lives.

Im curious to so im just replying to keep this in my watchlist and also i would like to comment on the other comments as if it's the women's fault. What if we aren't fat or anything like that. You guys make it seem like women all women let themselves go and that they deprive their spouse and that the man does all the work and intitates it. How about if some of the women would like to intitate it but don't want to because they are scared they will get rejected?

Is it possible that it has gotten so much of a chore to get her to respond that it became not worth asking for any more? After a day of bitching and nagging, it's difficult to catch the right mood, ya know?

Well, after 12 years she decided she was a lesbian. Is that good enough reason?
