Many people believe that the leftist-liberals with their revolutionary antics will tear down the framework of the U.S.A. However, is it possible that the majority of leftist-liberals can see that "some" change and adaption is needed for a country like the U.S.A. to continue to grow and maintain its overall strength and integrity as a country. Is it possible that the leftist-liberals have accurately realized that our forefathers, like George Washington, whom lived in a different, much slower time, almost a different world, could not have thought of every law, regulation, cultural norm, or every frame of the framework, etc.? Is it also possible that the leftist-liberals are the new, stronger, wittier, understanding, more adaptive breed and the conservatives are the old, rotten, stubborn, stinkers who almost act as if they are a living antique and do grandpaaaaa's wayeee of doing thingssss?

No, the leftist liberals I know believe strongly in supporting, protecting, and defending the Constitution. Kindly remember that one of the strengths of the Constitution is the ability to amend it, which has happened over 20 times.
Personally, I believe that most conservatives also believe strongly in supporting the United States. The problem seems to be in interpretations of the Constitution.
The key for citizens today is to realize that we do have the common ground of the Constitution and to study it carefully so that we can discuss our rights and responsibilities. Hyperbole on either side only serves to deter rational discourse.

is this a question, or a statement, also its a bit hard to have integrity after, or during for that matter, the Iraq occupation. more oil more greed less unity. Remember Soddam and Gomorrah in your hour of need. You talk of a country that illegally datains people without charge, tortures them then brands them criminals without any form of legal process. There are non-americans that have been detained in Cuba for more than five years, no charge, no crime, just solitary confinement and torture. Do you think G.W. or even Abe Lincoln would accept these crimes and legislate to hide these crimes. Or would you sit back as another country treated your citzens in such a way? the sand in your country must be full of heads, we can only see a r s e h o l e s from here.

Yes, but its not will tear down the framework, they already have.
Leftist socialist are opposed to freedom and opposed to the rule of law. Because the Rule of Law requires that private property be protected and that each person be able to keep the fruits of their labor. But socialism requires that those who have more of anything have it taken away.
"……….Prophets of social justice….focus on who should have less. Because they have nothing to give, they can only take away. First, they take away opportunity. Next, they take away possessions. In the end, they have to take away life itself."
"What our generation has forgotten is that the system of private property is the most important guaranty of freedom, not only for those who own property, but scarcely less for those who do not. It is only because the control of the means of production is divided among many people acting independently that nobody has complete power over us, that we as individuals can decided what to do with ourselves….."
With the Demcrats in control the first thing we'll lose is our property, then our freedom. May God have mercy on our souls, for then we'll lose our lives.

You're misstating the issue. Conservatives are content to follow the will of the majority. Liberals are so worried about the rights of the minority that they neglect the majority. It's because this country is so evenly divided that they are in power.

Nice writing, but no the left is not strong enough to make the hard decisions that need to be made to ensure survival. From what I have seen, they are short sighted and do not think the problem though to a viable and logical end. Perhaps the balance is that the conservative use their logic and brain while the liberals inject a touch of feeling to make it softer.

Americans must be united in order that USA will maintain its status as a superpower. Liberals and Conservatives must not destroy America by always criticizing each other. Both groups must work hand in hand for the better future of USA.

The left appears short of those.

Bush already ruined the framework. We need both parties to work together to ensure our "Super power" status.
