what makes you like hip-hop or rrap or whatever better? becuase i like COUNTRYY! [brad paisley-she's everything] not over country just why do you listen to it?

i try to find the beauty and talent in every genre of music. now i admit, some rap doesnt appeal to me at all, like when they're talking about b!tches, h0es, drugs and all that shizzle. lol but some rap has a great message and is actually really poetic, you can tell it took talent to write. now on to country, some of it is just rediculous (i.e honky tonk budonka donk) i mean seriously, im not even gonna say what i want to about that song.. but then look at other country (tim mcgraw-red ragtop) most of it tells a great story. i think there is at least one artist in every genre that would appeal to you if you just had time to listen to everything. but unfortunatly, the world is to busy a place to have time to do that, so we all just settle for a few genres. but, i try to maintain the attitude "it's all good" and that works out pretty well for me. you should try it.

I like rap and hip/hop just because. I dont know why, some people say because of our race. Im black but that doesn't meananything. But i guess its just what u like 2 listen to i guess. But i hate country music........

I like hip-hop because I fell that it lets people express their feelings more than any other genre of music does. You express how you feel and what you think with lyrics and background music. Bye!!!

I like rap cause It's fast and it's fun to dance to! I can't stand country though! It's to slow and their allways talking about sad things that happened to them!

I like lots of diffrent music. I like rap because I like the beat and if i am going out i like to dance to it. I also like country. It's about life and sh*t that i can relate to.

i hate both...and i've listened to both, and culturally, the majority of songs in both genres do not relate to me - AT ALL
