I got an email today from a guy that didn't like that I pointed out I didn't like his english. (aka: spelling and grammar)
He insulted me because he felt I thought I was high and mighty.

I just thought this was funny, and had to ask/share!!

Yes, I have. Some people don't like my opinion on certain topics so instead of saying it where everyone can read it they do it privately. I just read them, then delete them.

I try not to be insulting unless it's meant in a teasing way, but yes, I have received such emails. I've also been emailed for attempted conversions (won't work, so don't try, please), invitations to join 'white power' groups when it was learned I am Swedish/German hybrid (hell no!) and someone I'd never seen here before in my life who insisted I was stalking them - and then proceeded to try to stalk me online.

I think these types of emails are highly amusing, personally. When I bother to check my Yahoo mail account, of course...

Same thing happened to me. A question was written out in phone text shorthand . So I mentioned this in my answer. He made several grammatical and spelling errors in his email to me as well, but I let them go.
There's no excuse for using phone text shorthand when you have a full keyboard in front of you. Ignorance and laziness.
