It is so sad this story. I see what you mean by your question though. Possibly they could have dropped him off at a homeless shelter? Where at least someone would be able to keep an eye on this PERSON (not a piece of trash) who just got out of the hospital.

just because someone is homeless is not any reason to treat them worse than you would an animal on the street, they deserve respect as well. In the society we live in today with all the jobs leaving the states and going overseas, you could be living well one day and down and out the next, so homeless could happen to anyone. It is a stain on the society that we live in when you get more respect going to animals that are homeless than you do people.

Its sad. That could be you or me,we don't know how our lives will go.Loss of job or family .Mental heath or just heath problems in general .How can any one be justified ,treating a person that way ?It seems like a million years ago ,I worked at a liquor store ,a man use to come in 2 to 3 times a day ,Rich sherry is what he use to buy.He was never mean ,nor rude ,just got drunk .He was consider a wino. This man had a family ,owned his own business and was a famous baseball player too .His wife left him ,need I say more .He lost everything ,over the years. He still counted to me ,he never gave me a problem, always was kind and gentle. He was dropped off by the police a few times across town .I hope that bothers them ,he was better to people then they were .

It was wrong! There have been stories about antique shops (I believe in New York) suing the homeless people for millions of dollars because they congregate around the shop, looking for a place to stay warm. If we can afford to keep building prisons, we can afford to house our homeless. We'll house the criminals, but not people that have had bad things happen to them. Some of these people are women and children. That's wrong! There's been news of homeless Vietnam vets who cannot handle working after what they saw and they were setting up tents. The city government ran them off. They fought for this country, now the country should fight for them.

I have no idea but i think that was so wrong of them 2 do that 2 him. They could of at least dropped him off at the hospital and have them take care of him.

Terrible ! Every big city has a shelter or two. The Salvation Army would have been happy to help place him in a safe place.

completely wrong and proof of what this planet is becoming! the poor man still had on a hospitol gown and had a BROKEN COLOSTOPY bag!!!!!!!! Shame ! shame! shame on that! they had no right.they could have at least allowed him the dignity of dressing before they so callously dropped him off..and i might add..NOT AT A RESOURCE CENTER even..shame on them
