I've recieved a lot of good answers... Thanks to all whom responded so quickly. However, for general info, I don't have a bf-at all- of any age. "Sucks to be Me!"

If they're both legal then it's not perverted. Some people prefer older men because they find them more attractive then guys there own age. Same goes for older guys finding younger men more attractive. They also like the fact that younger guys tend to get them out and doing things. More adventurous. I'm 23 and I met my bf when I was 18. We've been together for over 5 years now and he was 35 when I met him. I like older guys because I think they're attractive, but I think the maturity level is there more often with an older guy and they're more relationship committed, which I didn't find with men around my own age. To each their own.

Well doogie2man if you know what the deal is and it seems you do, why don't you share it with the rest of us! I love it when people assume something because of a certain situation that is just generalizing in a very gross way! You don't know why a younger guy wants an older boyfriend! Everybody is different, everybody has their own likes and dislikes from food to clothing, form the kind of car they drive to the kind of life partner they want.
If you have a 40 year old who has a 20 year old boyfriend and as long as the 40 year old didn't threaten the younger guy to be his boyfriend then where is the problem? Believe it or not doogie2man there are younger guys who like to have older guy boyfriends and visa verse and it has nothing to do with any kind of extra perks like you are hinting at in your question here! This is also true in str8 world with men liking younger woman and visa Verse! If somebody is forcing them self on another person, like an adult on a child then yeah that person is most defiantly a 'PERVERT' but if a younger person who is of legal age to be sexually involved whats to be with somebody twice his or her age why does that make the older person a pervert??? Maybe it's the younger person who is the pervert in this situation!
Just my thoughts on it doogie2man!
*hugs*

I'm 44. My boyfriend is 21. We've been going out for almost 2 years. I treat him nice and give him experiences that guys his own age aren't interested in. I have patience. Young guys don't. What dooes he have for me? Well, he's a writer and a deep thinker. I can see the world through a fresh pair of eyes. The sex is great (can't doscount that). and he's full of energy. I don't see anything wrong with such a relationship if nobody is getting hurt, or being used/abused.

Look at personal ads from Asian guys. They are often looking for older guys. Same here in Mexico.

Straight men have been chasing after much younger women since time began. All men being created equally, this is also true in the gay male world. Not perverted, just generally delusional.

And yes, there are people of every gender who dig people who are much older than they are. I can think of any number of older male celebs I wouldn't throw out of bed, including Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Sidney Poitier, et al

Perverted isn't the word I would use. But you have to think "what's up"? Is the 40 y/o clinging to youth, and the 20 y/o looking for daddy? I don't see any real other problems in the moment. But you have to think: if this works out, someday I will be 50, and he will be 30. See--- it's going to get very difficult to maintain.

As long as he's of legal age it's not "perverted" at all. Everyone one's different. Some people like people their own age, some like older or younger.

I think the word might be ambitious rather than perverted.

No, as long as both parties are over the age of consent, I don't really see the harm. The parties involved are the ones who must decide if what they are getting out of the relationship is worth the effort.

Yo ho, is it "perverted" for a straight guy to have a girlfriend 20 years younger than him?

Is it perverted for a woman to have a boyfriend 20 years younger than her?

Snap and bend ...dude.

Don't really think so. Someone in their 20's is of legal, consenting age and can make up their own minds!
