Peppermint. I just went out and got some peppermint candy for my soar throat, it clears my nose and taste good too.
I had some nice plants growing at one time, I would make this into a tea. I like it and it works for me :0)

Salt water. A lot of bacteria don't do so well in the high concentration of salt.

I hope you do well with your chemo. Be very careful to stay away from people that maybe contagious, your immune system is down.

Ohh.. I like to tea and lemon and honey suggestion. Yum!

gargle often with warm salt water and diluted hydrogen peroxide once a day to kill bacteria. dont use throat sprays as they can sometimes dry out the throat more and cause more discomfort.drink warm tea and honey with lemon
