Who says we came from monkeys? We share common ancestors. But that is also true with all mammals. We all have red blood, livers, stomachs, brains and eyes just to point out a few similarities. Everything breaths oxygen. Wake up and look around you, if you can see without being naive, you will be able to put it together.

Because those monkeys evolved from the same monkeys we evolved from, but they evolved differently.
You must *really* not understand evolution at all if you don't understand that modern monkeys and modern humans share a common ancestor, but are different branches on the phylogenic tree.
Where on earth did you get the idea that today's monkeys were the same as the ancestral ones?!?!
Not that things which have barely changed over time don't exist, but those things are horseshoe crabs and sharks, I don't think anyone has every claimed that about monkeys!
Maybe the reason you don't believe in evolution is because you don't understand it in more ways than just this, huh?

For the same reason they still sell cell phone without cameras. Just because something evolved from something else doesn't mean that the original thing has to disappear.
It could be like this: a population of monkeys gets divided in half by some kind of catastrophe. Over generations, depending on the environment that each half was in, they would not necessarily be the same as the original population.

well first of all i do believe in evolution and if that is a problem then take it up with the entire science world also since the earth is not all one climates then some animals evolve different than others according to the environment same with monkeys and humans.

Actually this is a very intelligent question, that has been asked by serious biologists. The clam and worm and snail-like creatures that lived 550,000,000 years ago look essentially identical to modern forms of these organisms. How can this be? There is an explanation, called "Punctuated Equilibrium". It holds that once a species achieves a large measure of success, it continues in the same way essentially unchanged as long as the conditions that it originally adapted to also remain unchanged. But if those conditions are disrupted in some way, the species either goes extinct (the usual path), or evolves rapidly (the unusual path). until it again achieves some modicum of success.
About 7,000,000 years ago, the forests of east Africa dried up and the tree adapted chimpanzee-like creatures were faced with just this kind of dilemma. (no more trees). Most of them died. But a few managed to hang on, who were the ones who could just barely obtain enough food using their hind legs to run across the land surface. Thus began the road to humanity. On the other hand, the chimpanzee-like creatures that lived in the perpetual forests of west Africa faced no such crisis. They continued largely unchanged, as a result. And they remain today, as our modern chimps and bonobos. I hope this helps.
P.S. I agree with Secretsauce

ALL YOU CREATIONISTS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND EVOLUTION STOP ADVERTISING YOUR IGNORANCE WITH THIS IDIOTIC NON SEQUITUR.
If you think evolution implies that living animals are ancestors you have rocks in your head.
You need to learn about evolution before you try to criticize it.
If Christianity was derived from Judaism why are their still Jews? See what I mean, the two groups share ideological ancestry but split from one another. The existence of the one does not rule out the existence of the other or imply some kind of total replacement. Same thing with 'monkeys' and humans.

Anyone who knows anything about evolution knows that we didn't evolve from monkeys. That raises the question, who did you get your information about evolution from and should you be trusting them for information about God and Christ if they could get something much simpler so wrong?

You people need to open your eyes it's not 1942 evolution has been PROVEN!!!!! it is no longer a theory, why do you think it's being taught in schools. And to answer your question all primates come from a common ancestor, we did not evolve from any creature alive today.

The conditions of the world have not become so that the monkey cannot survive. Also, it's like a family tree (no pun intended). You have many branches in your family tree. Why can't the animal world have one too?

Monkeys are adapted to live in the trees. Humans live on the ground. Whales are adapted to live in the ocean. "Survival of the fittest" tends to optimize each species for its environment.
Have you been to the zoo or seen a nature show on TV? Monkeys really get around well on trees, so they have access to a lot of food. , while humans found and developed other sources of food.
