Who here likes the odds of the Sabres going to the cup?

they have a reasonably good chance if they stay healthy and henrik tallinder doesnt get hurt again. and if miller doesnt play like a fool like he has since the all star game.

I am a Sabres fan, but it's not why I think they got a good shot. They are amazing. They got some great players.. Daniel Briere, Chris Drury, Ales Kotalik, Jason Pominville, Thomas Vanek, Maxim Afinogenov, Jaroslav Spacek, Brian Campbell, last, but not least, Ryan Miller.. too many to name. 5 goal 20+ goal scorers, and Vanek is 1 goal from having 30+ goal scorers. Miller is young, but awesome, Biron can play games if Miller is tired. Biron is good, but he is a bit over rated seeing as he has a high GAA and pretty bad save % for how many games he plays. But Sabres are very favored to make the Stanley Cup. Now the bigger question is, will they WIN the Cup? I believe so. OH, and Paul Gaustad is out for the season, but he isn't one of those "necessary" players that is needed. We don't need him to win the games, he's pretty much like the Sabres Chara, stands in front of the net, but we get plenty of goals to win games, and Miller can also help, and so can the block shots. Still got a very great shot at it.

the Sabres won't make the finals.
so i see you are another bandwagon fan. just take it one game at a time, once you win then you can brag. too many good teams out there to decide right now and the Sabres aren't that great right now.
Miller is nothing he will be out of the NHL in the next 5 years. the next Jim Carey of the NHL.

They are too inconsistent to have good odds. They're great when they're on and they're terrible when they're off. If they are on a roll and can stretch it, great for them. But to win consistently under increasing pressure has not been their forte.
