The Aladdin like most of the mega-resorts in Las Vegas refers to their ROH(run of house) rooms as "deluxe". It's nothing more than their regular room. You can pay a little extra and get a deluxe room with a fountain view. Somewhat nicer still are the Resort rooms with a fountain view. Most LV 4-5 star hotels would have a Jacuzzi in these rooms but the Aladdin opts for a huge tub instead...

You can always just book a deluxe room and at check in try the $20 trick for an upgrade. If it's slow and the hotel has rooms to spare you have a good chance. During special events, and on weekends you would have very little chance.

If you're unfamiliar with the $20 trick>when you are checking in just hold the $20 in your hand where it's visible, you don't have to be obvious, they know what's going on. Ask if there might be a fountain view room available. All they can do is say let me check, which means you have a really good chance, or they will tell you we're all booked up. If they have the room, you give him/her the $20 handshake and say thanks...It does not hurt to try...
