Just found out I have access to free wireless connection, and I want to use a wireless connection, how do I go about doing that?

it is a little more tricky than that. You have access to something that is broadcasting wireless internet. Your computer has to have the hardware (not software aka a program) to receive the wifi. Most newer laptops come with it, it is a little more rare in desktops.

You can also by wireless internet cards or usb adapters for around 40-80 dollars if you don't have it.

If you want to check if you already have it go to network connections and see if you have a wireless connection there, double click to enable it if it is disabled.

You even have a wireless nic card? It aint a program that picks it up, its a piece of hardware!
