It's a money making organization mostly.

I was on that too but i got it for getting all A's in a few semesters in university, not in high school. I was also told that it's a money making org from my friends but i'm not sure of its reputation on its own. Your grades will speak for themselves anyway when you apply for universities or jobs and stuff like that so i guess it's just your call.

Good Luck with it...
p.s. you know, i'd definitely want to know how many people have made it to the dean's list. That's one for questioning so you can get a general idea of how prestigious it really is... =)

Do not put it on your resume. Practically every high school student in the US gets an offer from this organization. It is basically a business that sells copies of books with lots of students' names in them, including yours.

And definitely do not put it on your college applications -- that would make you look very naive.

Good for you for asking the question!

Best wishes to you.
