I made friends with a new kid at our school a few weeks ago, and we have been hanging out a fair bit. Lately he has been starting to act strange, for example:
- He calls me several times a day, with no apperent reason
- He always wants to be alone with me
-He always says how obsessed he is with girls, to the point where I think he is covering his real preferences
- He talks about his feelings a lot
- He wants me to go on a camping trip with him, alone
He's a nice kid, and I want to continue being friends with him, but I juat want to know what these things mean.

How old are you? How old is he? You refer to him as a "kid."

He sounds very lonely but you need to casually ask him if he's gay before you go any further in this friendship. If he says he doesn't know, he probably is or is in the questioning phase.
He could also be a completely hetero stalker with homicidal intentions. Just politely say no to the camping trip and ask him not to call so much, or have your folks put a block on his number.

He may just be lonely but no matter the reason, he is coming on way too strong with you. You need to set boundaries right away. Let him know that you don't mind being friends but you cannot be there 24/7.
If you don't feel like you can explain it to him just start cutting back phone calls and time spent with him

I would just come out and ask him. Particularly before going off on a camping trip if you have no interest. Better to get this out in the open very soon. Please do not fear that he will turn you "gay" if he is, but do be up front with him that you are straight.

I don't know if your friend is gay and chances are he may not know either for sure and may just be really confused. If you like the kid then be a friend and accept him for what and who he is. If you have a girlfriend or like a girl then just make sure he knows and stress the point to him.

This may sound odd but hear me out...
Ask him if he watches porn.
When he says yes, ask him if he watches a man and woman have sex.
If he says yes...
Ask him if he wants the guy's penis to be small. If he says anything other than "i dont care", he is atleast bi.
If he says no... (to the man and woman question)
Ask him if he only watches lesbian porn. If he says no, he is atleast bi. If he says yes, then he might just be tring to cover something up or is straight.
Look at porn with him and ask him to go to his favorite site...

Hmmm he souns like he may be gay... espically with the whole camping trip thing (which i personally wouldnt do until i knew him alot better). If you think he is gay just talk to him about it.

Even if you ar not gay, a gay friend is one that you can rely on because they are very sensitive.

If what you say is true..the guy wants you to have sex. Very simplistic, yet intriguing.
IF you are safe, intelligent, use protection and NOT a minor...and of course are interested...just do it.
