Well, join the club. My heart broke just last night after I had transcribed 15 pages of a document for a friend and one of my fingers caught the delete key by accident (ghasp!) and good-bye four hours' of typing. We have all been there and we can laugh now but when it happens.... different thing altogether. I realised the only thing that would be the right thing is to start right in typing page one again as soon as humanly possible, which I did and today the whole document (28 pages of it) were finished up and sent to about eight people. Problem solved. The way to get your heart back into one piece again is to keep right on typing. All I did was laugh. What do you do? Cry into your beer? What good does that do? It puts off the solution for another day. The main idea is when your heart breaks pick yourself up, take a hot bath, have some tea, call a friend, wash your hands (of everything) and KEEP GOING.

hi i am sorry your heart is broken (assuming you are not kidding), but i really think that these emotional turbulences make you a stronger, more robust, smarter human being. Most importantly it makes you appreciate the good ones when they finally come along!
I had my heart broken 3 times. In 1997 (although he really didnt deserve my affection, i was just a fling to him),
then again in 2000 when i split with my first real boyfriend (this was by far the worst one. The night we broke up I collapsed on the floor, stopped eating, then BINGEd and put on over 14 pounds)
and in 2004 when i split with someone i had been seeing for 4 months. I guess i thought he would be the man i would marry, but i got clingy and he got cold feet.
It ends well though! I met someone in 2004, we fell in love, got married and had my baby daughter. I have never looked back since and i wish all my exs all the best. One day soon, you will too.

I had a HUGE crush on this girl that I met through a mission trip I went on this past July. I told her about it and we started talking a lot. I was scared of putting myself out there because of my past and how many times I've been hurt, yet I still did. We talked about that and she understood because she felt similarly due to her own past. I thought I had a chance with this girl.
Then early September I find out she's dating one of my friends, who also knew how much we had been talking. She told me in the nicest way possible that the amount I stepped out of my comfort zone to talk to her and all that just wasn't good enough for her, and she chose to date this other guy because he lived closer. I was severely crushed and felt very betrayed.
BUT...
Time heals all wounds. At this point in time I have feelings for a girl I go to church who seems to return the sentiment, and from what I did wrong last time I learned valuable lessons and things are going well for me.
Hope this helped.

October 25. I haven't ever loved anyone as much as I loved her.
People will tell you that time heals all wounds but that isn't always true. You must just ride it out until you find someone new. This sounds impossible but I have to have faith in the fact that something as special and beautiful as love will happen again. It has to.

I'm sorry to hear that, here, let me help you find them.
My heart broke when I split up with my girlfriend of 1 year and nine days, I just came home from work and she scraems at me and forces me to leave, I was so broken down for about 6 months, I became reclusive and refused to even go out!
