Where is this creepy eye picture from?

I frequently see this picture [Link below] of a creepy hairy eye on an image forum I visit. I don't know where I've seen it before, but I'm certain I have. I think it's from a video game or a movie of some sort. Someone also suggested a music video, but I still have no clue where the picture's from. If anyone could point me in the direction of finding out where it's from or what it's name is I'd be incredibly appreciative. Thanks!

I should have been more specific. I'm almost certain that this is from a video game, or perhaps a tv show. The picture linked to is a photo of a screen [Either tv or monitor, I'm not sure.] showing the image I'm talking about.

Wow, I've seen that somewhere too, a long time ago. I have the very vague impression that it was shown briefly, flying to and fro in a sci-fi/horror film or TV programme, sort of setting an ominous tone. Try "Zontar, The Thing from Venus," "Plan 9 from Outer Space," or an episode of "The Twilight Zone" in which a tiny spacecraft on Earth uses a giant inflatable monster to deter nosey humans. Meanwhile, you've got me intrigued, so I'll sleep on it and get back to you.

Reminds me vaguely of an HR PufnStuf episode or maybe the movie. Seems like something Witchiepoo might have had hunt down Freddy or Jimmy. I can't be more specific, I just get that image when I look at it....it could just as much be from The Prisoner (during one of the many paranoid dream sequences)...it definitely is from the early 70's though...just has that "feel" to it.

Well, It looks (ahem) interesting, Sad to say I never saw a picture like that before, I do remember seeing an old b&w horror movie about giant alien eyeballs crawling on the ground and a computer softweare company useing a eyeball in their logos. perhaps its from a foriene film or a cheesey b-rated horror movie

I don't know what it is, but do you think that it might be some kind of kite. I dont know how to tell you how to find out sorry. Boy is sure is creepy.

haha slightly, but i think thats because of the expression your doing haha. Try smiling and i'm sure they'll look a lot less scary :) I agree with the others though, nice colour :D xx

I swear it is from some really bad sci fi movie that I ran from in college. I wouldn't know the name of it and I really don't want to. Bad Bad movie.

To me, judging by the grain of the colour film - it is from a 1950s Sci-Fi film. Sorry, I cannot tell you which one.
