The finer the cement higher the grade number. It just indicates that the cement gains early strength. But the ultimate strength is same for all the grade of cements. The 53 grade gains the 28 day strength of 33 grade in seven days. But all cement and cement products gain strengthe with aging. For works where form work has to be removed quickly higher grade cement may be used. But curing is critical for higher grade cements; other wise they tend to develop surface cracks.

It means the grade of setting the cement you see some structures need different type of cements for eg: Dam construction, Huge bridges, Huge buildings etc. these kind of structures need more grade cements and these kind of cements are setting fast and they are used by some kind of equipment because of the fast setting, and about the other grades for ordinary constructions like house, small buildings etc.
