if you use ares to download the movie in various formats e.g. AVI or MP4 or WMV, then first you need to convert them to DVD format and then use a burning programme to put them onto disk, the best programmes ive found for them are the nero suite from ahead software. The conversion and compression of the movie is done by nerovision express which then automatically burns to disk or to a folder on your hard drive. you can get a trial copy of all nero software at this site.

you will find a host of other uses for nero as well as movie burning and conversion, i.e. nero back it up, nero cover designer, data disk production etc.
