How can George Bush claim he's fighting the war on terror while the door to Mexico is off its hinges? I understand we have to win in Iraq but we also have to make sure a terrorist carrying a nuke doesn't walk into the U.S. at the border at the same time.

You can always claim anything. Actually Bush has already signed the treaty with Mexico to open the border!

The North American Union, now euphemistically called the SPP, will shorty have an open border with both Mexico and Canada, and all three are forming a new shadow govt. Here is the new govt. website. . http://spp.gov/
Makes one wonder if Bush was ever really worried at all about a terrorist coming into the country
Or you can do the video http://www.freedom.org/naugreen2/player.html

We are fighting a war on terror in Iraq, but the Governors of each state along the Mexican Border needs to step up the plate also, they need to protect the Border too. If Kinky had been elected in Texas instead of that stupid Perry, the borders would have already been closed and illegal entry would be a thing of the past already. I do agree that the border should be closed and what ever force necessary to enforce illegal entry should be applied.

Well even if bush did want to close the border completely he cant unless he gets congress on board. With the democrats now in charge that is not going to happen. They already pulled the funding for the fence that the last congress agreed to pay. I guess we can thank all those conseratives who felt the republicans needed to be taught a lesson. The only thing standing preventing the illegals from a free path to citizenship with out punishment was the house republicans and now they are in the minority.

Check your facts. A fence has been set up on the border and is being built. Bush also sent the National Guard to the border to help protect it.

It is also a little hard when the ACLU is against all of that and have huge demonstrations against building a fence.

Uh he is the "decider" I mean "decision maker" He can say anything he wants.

You know he can't close the borders, what would happen to all the business that employ illegals?
Without that open border policy they might have to hire citizens and pay them actual decent wages and taxes and oh the horror.

He cant, and you bring up a good point. Shouldn't Bush be more concentrated with mexico than with Iraq, if you want to know, George Bush doesn't know whats best for our country.
