Pet rats are not disgusting. They act more like dogs then rodents, and groom more often then a cat grooms.
But I do have a friend who says my rats are A-ok except for the tails. She calls their tails, "parsnips".

I love rats. Pet rats I mean. They are not disgusting, they are cute and friendly and soft and a lot of fun. Watch out though, If you put your clothes to close to their cage, they will chew them up.

I don't think rats are disgusting. I want a pet rat, but my mom is freaked out by them. My cousin has two, though. A black and a white one named Moon and Sophia. Sophia, the white one, has creepy red eyes, though.

It's a way a person perceives them. Some people think skunk smell is a great smell. There is a specific perfume that is on the market that smells like bug spray to me. People are wired differently.

no, they're not. some people think they are because they live in gross places and can have diseases, but if you're getting a pet rat you don't have to worry about that. No, they are not gross.

I don't think rats are gross. A lot of people associate them with disease (think the Plague) and thats why they think they are gross.

they arent disgusting... they actually (like many other rodents) are very clean animals
its all a matter of opinion.....
in fact i like rats

their not, it's just some people don't like their bare tails, and they reproduce a lot, which has given them a bad reputation
