Yes. A fellow I went to school with went home one day and his parents were gone. They just up and left. Nobody has seen or heard of them since.

Actually, my sister had this friend back in the 90's when they were teenagers (I was just a kid) and her friend was always running away from home. Then one day she was gone without a trace. They platstered her face on the news and announced her gone missing on the radio. I don't think they ever found her.

I don't, but my daughter did. His name was William Smolenski, and he vanished from Naugatuck, Ct. He's even been featured on "America's Most Wanted."

Yes. After my dad's death my mom dated this guy who owed some bookies some really big money he couldn't pay and one day he vanished.

yea, and it is kinda creepy, i have met him one time, he is my uncle, my dads only brother, he know lives somewhere over on the west side of the u.s, i know nothing about him, i am dieing to meet him, but my dads sisters say he is a druggie, and a bad person, y??? i love disasters and i have a knack for fixing them. it makes me feel terrible to know there are ppl out there who need fixing and knowing i can't do anything about it! *sigh* i guess i can't be every ones hero. but yea, i think it is odd when ppl just disappear...
