What are good creative hiding places around the house

I don't think I can tell you where I hide my good stuff... All the ideas given here will help any theif. Now they know all the unusual hiding places. Safety deposit boxes are still my best bet..But thanks to everyone for their tips... in case I need to hide something until I can take it to my bank!

If you have floor vents, down there; Some furniture with drawers have space behind the drawers that isn't noticable. Flat items like cash--between the matress and box springs, but everyone would look there of course. In your refrigerator, use an old arm and hammer box to keep valuables. Most cabinets have bottoms mounted above the floor level, you can cut out an opening, put in bracing to hold the door in place, and use that space below. Hide the door beneath cabinet liner.
Heating plenum is also a possibility if it is down at floor level, for your intake, just remove the vent cover and use that space for anything nonperisable.

I once knew a man who hid his cash in an ash tray on the coffee table.The ash tray had a false top with fake cigarette butts and dirty ashes that looked real.Noone would go near that thing.

Put a GPS tracking device on a 2-4 year old child, let them loose... and later follow their tracks... you'd be SURPRISED the places little Ankle-Biters can find !!
