What is the difference between elixir, bronzer and accelorator???

Can someone please tell me the difference... and which is better for a beginning tan.. a little more info on the elixir please!

i always use the tingle lotion. an accelorator is for bringing your tan out more... a bronzer makes you look more tan..i don't ever use bronzers. some of them leave lines. i don't know what an elixir is when it comes to this.
i think an accelorator would be best for starting a tan.
