No . The spectator shouted bad words very loudly in the face of Afridi and Afridi did that just to protect himself from a possible assault by the spectator. It was the responsibility of the South Africa cricket board to ensure that there is enough separation between player and spectator that there is no chance for this to happen . What if the spectator tries to hit the player then in that case the player should have the right to defend himself .

Yes,because afridi has committed that mistake ,which is very shameful for whole ICC .Thus it is right desicion of ICC that they ban afridi not to play 4 odi.

Yes it's right! They banned Herchell Gibbs of South Africa. So it's only fair that Afridi gets banned as well.

NO. reason is,that Alfridi only appeared to show the bat
to the spectator.He never touched the spectator.The game wasn`t stopped or anything like that.THey should of jus gave
Alfridi a warning,not to loose his temper for spectators stupid remarks.
and what about the spectator..............
why don`t he get banned from watching live cricket,since seeing
he was the main instigator,and got some fame from this. .

I feel that it is a right decision and deterrent warning to all the players to control their emotions and strictly follow the code of conduct

Surely yes And i think that _____________ must be banned from cricket How dare he beat a cricket audience.Then what respect & dignity he has towards himself.(pls fill that blank with a bad word)
I think the punishment should be very severe on him& this is only a start to it.
