Good, you have to be able to laugh at yourself if you see any of your religion or ways in this comedy.

I thought that overall the movie was brilliant. yes, it had its controversies, but i think its a very unique film - no movies out there seem to have the balls to show the attitudes and opinions that the people Borat interviews have (although I do wonder how much of it was just improv, or scripted). Sasha Baron Cohen is just showing the world that people do really have these sexist and anti-semitic opinions- he's a good man.

I LOVED the bear and the ice-cream truck - genius!

it's a really funny movie because it embraces stereotypes and pushes the boundaries. borat is the most creative movie from 2006. it is offensive, but as long as you have an open mind and remember it is only a movie, you can't stop laughing. there are a few scences that are so funny you are almost crying. a brilliant movie thats great to watch with a big group of friends.

Honestly, I watched about half of Borat, and didn't laugh once. The movie was offensive and disgusting. Don't get me wrong, I love a good low-brow movie as much as the next guy, but this was just awful.

I thought the movie was great. There were a lot of people that found it offensive, but I think they need to stop whining. It is a MOVIE and a funny one at that. I have been to Kazakhstan and I know the country is not like that. I still do not find it offensive. It was really really funny especially if you were an Ali G fan.

Bruno became unbelievably poor, that's in basic terms him appearing gay. No hatred in the route of Bruno, yet in my attitude i imagine Borat turned right into a a lot funnier action picture, and had extra of a plot to it, inspite of the actual shown actuality that it turned right into a documentarycomedy.

It was the funniest movie ever. I have never laughed so hard during a movie. Offending people is hilarious. People are WAY too uptight and to laugh at them for it is the best kind of entertainment.
And I'd say most stereotypes are true, that's why their out there.

Good. Except for the nude wrestling. taht was BAAAAAADDDD!
Borat makes fun of pretty much every race so he avoids the "racism" stigma. It did a good job of highlighting how there's still a huge racist demographic in America. Still it's core audience will be drunken racist frat-boys who go to see it cos they think Borat talks funny.
