Kelly Clarkson. Because she has proven herself to be more than just an Idol winner. Carrie Underwood to me comes a close second.
I also wanted to say that Kelly gets my first nod for giving Faith Hill the reaction she gave after Kelly won an award she thought she had won hands down.

Kelly because she actually became famous outside of AI she was intorduced on SNL as just kelly clarkson without any mention of the show. The rest havent experienced that yet.
