A big reason for the success of the Bruins was their old barn, the Beantown Garden. The new place is just not suited towards helping the B's get a true home ice advantage, expecially with the prices charged. Boston used to be a great NHL hockey city. Seems the college game has eclipsed it, largely to due with the passion from the fans.

Ever? By the simple law of averages the Bruins should eventually be good again at some time in the future. Will it happen in the next few years? I doubt it. Their management is a mess.

Will Boston win a cup in the next 20 years? I'm skeptical, but that's hard to predict. I mean, if you had asked me 5 years ago if Tampa Bay would win a cup before 2010, I probably would have said no, and been wrong.
