i have experience with graphic soft bu i need to learn CAD would you recommend any packages? thank you

pick a package- started might be like turbo cad or simular, advanced would be AutoCad ($$$ legal) and alot to study. Most simple packages mimic the larger ones, with less extra stuff- learn there and work your way up... Also, some have demos with them or downloadable, and alot of them have Dummies or 24 hour learining books for them...

Go look up all the best CAD software mfgs on the web. Some of them offer a 30 day trial version of their software. I know this because I recieved a free trial on one of them with Corel Draw a couple of versions ago. Sorry I don't recall whos cad program it was.

Get a torrent client like Azureus or BitTorrent (Azureus is the best) and search for AutoCad torrents on Google... my favorite is www.torrentspy.com, but www.mininova.org, and www.torrentz.com are good too. Just search for AutoCad and go to Download and open the file with Azureus... it'll download and you can install it and play around. I imagine many tutorials are up on torrent sites as well.

course at community college is your best bet. you could also just play around with the program until you learn the functions.
