obama just locked up the VP nomination. hilary already as the presidential nomination. they must have obama or the blacks will stay home. or maybe some may want richardson ,hoping for the hispanic vote. the choice will be obama. bet mortgage money
on this prediction.

I'll take that bet. The primary is held because it's the people not the party that select the candidates. You may be right on Obama as their presidential or VP choice but I think currently Hillary is a bit of an outcast. Her record and that of her husband are both against her. The democratic field is wide open with many very good candidates. What about Edwards?? It's the republicans that are looking under ever rock to find someone with a chance in hell.

Please, don't bet your mortgage money on it!
Nothing is a done deal, yet. Sure they are running well in the polls so far but it isn't over yet. All it takes is one little mistake by either of them & they are out of the running. There is still time for the others in the Democratic line up to give challange to both.
Wait is the by-word, only time will tell if either or both can keep pace with what they have started.
I'm not making preditions, yet. Although unlikely, even another Republican could do it!

politics need reforms,but doing away with the primary is not one of them.
