Hi Dat!
First of all, lawmakers don't' have the right to force all people to keep the beliefs of a group or a part of the country. People must have the freedom to act at their own conscience.
People that believe that abortion is wrong must have the freedom to prevent it in a personal way. People that believe that abortion is OK must have the freedom to do it.
The main purpose of the Law is prevent the harm between one and the other and promote the peace among people. In front of conscience problems, there must be other than government or Law to reinforce the beliefs, churches by example, and there must be the liberty to join the church that fit to everyone.
The very reason that some people have trouble with bad abortion works is precisely because abortion is illegal and the medical conditions are clandestine.

1- in the case where there is a life threatening or impairing condition to the mother or the child.
2 - in the case of rape / incest - the victim should not have to be forced to be a victim twice.
sure no one has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body, but then the same logic and rights apply to the life she carries. who are you to decide who to kill and whether the life of the child you carry is 'worthwhile" or not? women should start thinking about that too if they start to play games having unprotected sex. there are plenty of sex education options and birth control options out there that do not involve ending a life unnecessarily. to me its very sad that the life of a child in our society, means less than the life of a serial rapist and murderer, and means less than available birth control.

Women should have the right to control their own body. If they are in no situation to bring a baby into this world, that is their choice. They might not be able to provide it with proper care, afford food, clothing etc, or in a dangerous situation.
If a teen gets raped, should she be held accountable for something she had no intentions on? Should she have to live her teen years caring for a baby, which are supposed to be some of the best years of her life?

before we look for an answer to that question, we should also ask why it is legal for people who do not want children to give birth to children. why is is legal for a society to have unwanted childrent that nobody cares for and who go from foster home to foster home and may be to a life of crime because they were never given a chance to become productive members of society

To avoid having people do it without proper medical situation. Because of some feminist politics. There are some valid reasons and some not so valid ones.

According to Roe v. Wade, abortions are legal because to make them illegal is to infringe on women's rights to privacy.

Because Hitlers mother wanted to abort him but it was illegal at the time.
Mainly because you can't tell someone what they can and can't do with their body.

if a woman is raped it should be legal for her to get an abortion. i think abortions should be legal with a limit of one after that the woman should carry full term and place the child for adoption.
