Is your home a house or bungalow? reason I am asking is a house may have 2 circuits for lighting, up and down. It sounds like a fuse because everything else works, locate your fusebox using a tortch, now if your home is modern or has been rewirered recently then it will be a matter of switching it back on again, check fusebox if it has a row of small switches then u will notice that one is in a different direction to them all, switch it back on and lights should come back on. If when trying to switch it back on and u feel a bit of resisstance that thge switch wants to turn off again then u have a prob, so u need an electrician. The older boxes used fuse wire but there is another fuse box that has buttons instead of switches, the one that has tripped will pop out, all u do is push it back
iForgot to mention that your fusebox should either be under ur stairs, may be hidden by clothes etc, in the kitchen inside a boxed in cupboard, in the hall way on the wall high up.

The lighting fuse has blown or circuit breaker has tripped, the fusebox is normally in the hallway, under the stairs or in the garage, the fuse holder will be white 5 amp, rewire fuse with correct fuse wire or reset breaker, switch on light if it blows/trips again you have a problem and will have to call an electrician, sometimes a bulb blowing will trip a breaker or fuse. If it does go again you could still reset the breaker or fuse and dont use the lights in that room until the fault is fixed, at least that will give you light in the rest of the house, hope this helps...

The fuse box should be near the meter. You may be lucky and have a circuit breaker instead of fuses .If so, just switch it back on. Its quite probable that the blowing light bulb tripped the switch, it happens in my house every time a bulb goes. The circuit breaker is very sensitive, It will look like a row of switches. The one controlling the lights will be out of line with the rest of them.
PS Make sure the light switch is off before inserting a new bulb.

Hi, there has to be a fuse box somewhere, look again?...if not, it could be that something shorted and could possibly even pose a fire risk...please dont delay, get it looked at if you still cant find the fuse box...get the electrician in as soon as possible.
cheers

you really need to find the fuse box!.
have you looked out side in the electric box or in the garage?.
it sounds like it tripped the master if all the lights are out.
my advice is keep looking and if all else to what the church say read the book ask god and say let their be light!.
not that i believe that horse crap but hey keep looking you'll find it try under the stairs.
good luck!.

For now, plug a table lamp into one of the sockets where the electric works fine.

Whatever you do don't do it yourself! Phone your electric company or ask a neighbour for assistance. Sorry for not answering your question but it is for you own safety!
