What color are these eyes, hazel or brown?

Question

This is to settle a sibling "argument". My eyes are plain brown, however I think my sister has hazel eyes, or at least greenish, but she disagrees. They change color according to the weather, clothing or whatever else but its not a drastic change. At least I don't think as I am not always tht close to my sis's face. lol Its a joke/quarrel between us but I decided to try ad settle with more opinions.

I apoogize for the quality of the picture, the zoom isnt working so the best way to capture the color was to take the picture of one eyes. I do not know how to display pictures here so there is a link, please look.

The quality of the pic indicates a greenish haze at the outside of the iris with brown inside...whether this is correct isn't positive however, I have hazel eyes and depending upon what I wear or what mood I'm in, my eyes change color from brown to greenish to bluish...I have a bluish green tint that runs all around the edge of the iris with flecks of greens and blues within the brown.

So...out on a limb here, I'd have to say hazel because if they were brown...they'd be a more evenly concentrated color all around...these are not. Of course the lighting and focus can play a huge part in this. However, the eye color you described for your sister IS hazel.

i cant see the photo that well but brown eyes are brown eyes they stay that way...however if they change then they are hazel..my xhusband and my daughter both have hazel eyes.
