"The best music is always the music you heard at high school." is what they say.
Personally I like a lot of jazz and blues from the 60s, folk and rock from the 70s, the classic heavy metal bands of the 80s and 90s and also I like modern indie bands.
Some of my favourite bands have released great songs in the 70s, 80s, 90s and are still making fantastic new music these days.

I can't stand 80's music, but I LOVE 90's music. The stuff today is getting crappier by the hour. I'm not even that old and I think this.

I love 80s and some 90s music, before rap and hip hop.It took real talent to make music then. Now all it takes is a computer and a couple of wanna be gangstas,no talent at all.

I like the 1980's on back to the 1920's.
I guess the 1990's was okay, but most pop music today is not very good.
A lot of non-singing, non-musicians, and dancers with skimpy clothes is what passes for talent these days. They also all sound alike. No style. Much hype.
