The country version of Lips of an Angel I admit is bad too. I like Hinders version WAY better, even though I like country.

I heard a horrible version of Bing Crosby and David Bowe's Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth. I can't remember who did it, but it was some bland pop singer. The two singers were way out of sync that they sounded like they were off key.

Most remakes are the worst. I can't remember a remake that I preferred to the original (not even Cream's "Spoonful" versus Willie Dixon's) and if I had my way I'd pass a law against it.

Here's another great example they haven't thought of yet, but give them time: Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera duet of "O Holy Night." One could sing the melody and the other could do the triplet rhythms. Then they could alternate the other verse.

someone did a cover of 'another brick in the wall' a few years ago that sucked ON ICE! but the one that kills me still to this day is that jimmy page sold out and let puff cover/use his guitar riff from 'kashmir'. it's BLASPHEMY!!!
