Generally they choose which day they would like to celebrate their birthday on. Some choose Feb. 1st while others may choose March 1st. Then on leap year....they have it on the actual day. It is really the person's choice when they get older or however their family generally chose to celebrate it. There isn't a right or wrong way. Leap year baby's deserve acceptions.

I'm putting my money on March 1st. :) They're technically born the day after February 28th, so some years that would be the 29th, and some years would be the 1st.

Celebrate your birthday at your own convenience, if March 1st is a better time for friends and family, ok, if not, try February 28th. Whatever you do, you will still be a year older, and hopefully wiser. Best wishes

i'm born on Feb 29. My mum and dad instructed me that when there wasn't a feb 29, i could choose while i had to have fun my birthday (Feb 28 or March a million). That have been given me excited and that i instructed all and sundry at college. on the bounce year, that they had throw a huge celebration.

Suposedly the woman down the street was born on the 29th...but I never really believed her son when he told me that.
He said they just celebrate on the 28th or the 1st whenever they/she felt like it.
