When you're eating a steak and you get a mouth full of fat/gristle...???

do you politely eat it and swallow it holding your breath.... do you spit it into your napkin discreetly.... or do you spit it back out directly onto your plate...???

I would just put a little more of the meat in my mouth and chew it up then swallow. The fat and meat combination while not healthy it sure is tasty especially when the steak is seared on the outside and red in the middle.

I never order steak at a restaurant so if I have steak it is at home and I simply use my fingers to remove it from my mouth and set it aside to give my dog later. When I was a teenager and having supper with my boyfriend's family they used to bbq steak and I remember forcing myself to swallow the gristle/fat if I accidentally put it into my mouth.

Sometimes I find a little gristle so I spit it in my napkin.
It's funny, everybody here finds fat on their steak. I never have any left on my plate.

if im eating infront of my family i will just spit on my plate, but if i was with someone elses family i would spit it in a napkin!
