Boxing, with fights that have served as an almost allegory for the world's political climate?

I'd have to go with baseball. It has been a microcosm for almost every social problem our country has faced for generations. There is a reason that it is the "national passtime",

Football, above any other sport has had the greatest impact socially in the United States. No other sport can bring 11 men together on each side and have a war with no casualties. It is truly the All American sport...and if you think its baseball, you probably let your wife tell you what skirt looks good with your blouse ya lil girl.

Well I go to high school in America, and strangly the greatest sport event to impact us was the World cup. I have NO clue why. seriously NONE, my school is in the north west, and only a handful of my classmates are good at soccer.
Everyone just got swept up in it cause they thought it was cool, I swear some people were runnign around talking non-stop about it and I know for a fact they have no clue what they're talking about.

Baseball used to be, for sure..."America's past-time" and all that. But I think football is up there too. There are just as many drug issues.

FOOT BALL then BaseBall then Hockey it used to be base ball Nascar then foot ball BUT Nascar is going to be Japcar here sometime soon. Baseball isnt violent as football and hockey is boring but violent

Basketball and it's fans' propensity towards violence. I think there are more riots because of basketball games than any other sport in the US. Actually, I think it's the only sport that sparks riots in the US.
