I felt very upset when I read the article trying to say Prince was displaying some scandolous thing! I think they were trying to create something somewhat like the Janet Jacson Incident at the Superbowl. I thought this was a real low blow by the media. Here is the link to read the article. What are your thoughts on what the media(some not all) has said about his Performance? And Plus many rockers do this position when they are performing which to me was another clue in saying the media was trying to create something from nothing.

Oh I agree it's ridiculous! That's the only part of the game I watched is when Prince was on. I just read that on Yahoo News & thought What?! I didn't even notice anything, I think the media has a dirty mind & wants to make something out of nothing. They should leave it alone. They must've been bored today.

Much a do about nothing. I think it was unplanned. My only problem with the halftime show is it wasn't very good. He chose wrong when he decided what to sing. Purple rain is too slow. He could have rocked the house but he didn't. Also artists have to learn that despite the boredom that it might cause to them the audience wants to hear a song sung like the way they know it. Not some improvised version that they come up with that supposedly showcases their variety. Prince has to learn that all those high pitched squeaks and all that he does is not music and often sounds like crap.

Prince put on an AWESOME show! I couldn't believe they found a scandal over his performance. Somebody was trying to make a mountain over a molehill. I believe that the same people who thought the telly-tubbies were gay were the same people calling Prince's performance scandalous.
I'm ignoring the whole thing just like the whole Anna Nicole fiasco. I'll just re-watch Prince on TiVo.

I agree. I think the media is making a little too much out Prince's silhouette. First of all, the NFL produced the half-time show. They aren't exactly known for being scandalous. Second of all, it's not like Prince just made they symbol that represents him for the show. Now I must admit when I watched I was like, "Hm his guitar kind of looks like a penis." But I don't think it was intentional. He's a Jehovah's Witness! I don't think they approve of that. lol

That is retarded. What are they going to bi*tch about next. If they keep this up no one is going to want to do a half time show for the Superbowl! No one knew anything about this, now a week later I assume after reviewing the tape over and over they finally spotted something to complain about?!? He wouldn't be prince if he wasn't a little scandalous.....that's why he rocks.

I watched the Superbowl Half-time show, and I didn't see anything that was offensive. I don't know why people are always trying to start crap. Its silly. Like their lives aren't exciting enough, or they have way too much time on their hands. People need to get real.

Some people have nothing better to but sit at home and come up with crap that is totally off the wall. Some of the stuff people come up with would never cross my mind.. Wayyyyyyyyyyy tooooooooooooo much free time...

When you think about it, the buzz has been pretty quiet about the incident. \

Prince did a great job and because the football players were footing the bill, if they are not complaining why should the media....

I hate it. I do examine a number of their comments, as a number of them are about the music, yet maximum of them have not something to do with the album or something...... they in basic terms type of rant on and on about different issues that *may* slightly relate to the album. i have considered them supply garbage albums tremendous ratings and tremendous albums mediocre ratings. I comprehend it quite is the idea, critic's opinion, yet quite...... I surely have also witnessed an album get a nil.0 and a ten.0 collectively. in addition they do seem to have a tendency to certain scenes even as they become time-honored. opposite to time-honored conception, they don't make scenes time-honored. some comments also get like 2 strains worth of a evaluate and then get a especially undesirable score... if that's that undesirable you should have extra to assert about it than that. They overhype the sh*t out of a tremendous number of bands and are frequently the reason that band receives so large.... the moral there is they ought to end plugging those artists everywhere, allow their music get them there, quite even as your own flavor is questionable. they are extra or a lot less hurting the music by technique of overhyping bands that practice to be accepted. about the single hundred element score gadget, I type of like it, i quite do not see it as a situation. in case you imagine about it as one hundred factors and not in any respect 10 factors with decimals then it type of feels extra effective. like the version between 7.6 and seven.7 may appear like not something, although the version between seventy six and seventy seven seems extra significant.

I don't think it is a big deal. Everybody is just blowing the situation out of proportion. Anybody who loves Prince's music or went to see him live, knows he could have done a lot worse. It is really no big deal just a stupid shadow, besides you see a lot worse on regular TV.
