Jordan is suppose to be the best of the 4 Staals. Some will say Jared, but that was a typo by a local OHL newspaper.

Well I would say yes. Jordan has been a wonderful asset for the pens and he has 2 goals tonight. He along with malkin and crosby have over 20 goals. The last team to have 3 goal scorers under the age of 21 were the edmonton oilers during the stanley cups. Hmm makes you wonder doesn't it? Jordan is great on the penalty kill, power play and even strength. Eric is great on the power play and even strength but you think he is on the pk like jordan is. I don't think so. Points eric probably has more but Jordan is the better all around player. Let's Go Pens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe Jordan is better than his brother right now because Eric has so much more experience at the NHL level... but don't tell that to Jordan because he just got his first career hat trick tonight and has as many goals as his brother.

Living in Pittsburgh, it has become a treat to watch the kid glide in and out of traffic with that long, long reach of his, all the while keeping the puck out of reach from defenders. And it is that long, long reach that creates crazy shooting angles that has his latest victim, Raycroft, shaking his head.

No Jordan is not better than Eric... but he will be. :)

I believe that Jordan will be better than his brother Eric because this is his first season in the NHL and he is only 1 goal behind his brother. He has great hands, speed, and size, just like his brother. I don't think that he will be the best Staal brother in the NHL, because I think that Jared will be the best. Jared's hands and speed have already surpassed his brother's and he will likely get more size as he ages.

I believe so, in the future. He is surrounded by players like Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby, Sergei Gonchar, and so many others. Crosby and Malkin will be with him for awhile. Eric is good because of Rod Brinda'mour. Plus, Jordan can get tips and advice from Mario Lemieux. That's always helpful and a positive.

eric is still better than jordan right now. eric has more experience and he won the cup with the 'canes last year. but jordan is going to be a great player once he has a few more years of experience. he's going to be better than eric one day.

They are both equally talented. However, Jordan is luckier, because he gets to play with players like Mark Recchi, Sid the Kid Crosby, Sergei Gonchar.....

Well he has his first hat trick with the Game Winner in OT. I don't think he is as good as his older brother yet. Give him time and he might get as good and maybe even pass him. Right now though he isn't quite there.
